sketchbook backgrounds

I created these backgrounds into my sketchbook for this project.they are handmade. I created the first one by cutting up an image that I took of the sky into various sized strips and sticking them dorn horizontally with masking tape between each image for a striped effect. I created the second background by cutting 3 different images that I took of the sky in various shades into differently sized rectangles. I stuck the rectangles back together to form a dissected sky. I scanned these 2 pages into photoshop. I am going to use these backgrounds to digitally collage onto.
